It’s NOT a sweet little mystery at all.

ORB is the official merchandise partner to The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo.  As part of this we get the fantastic job of selling band merchandise at all the Castle Concerts during the early part of July.

We kicked off with the Kaiser Chiefs a week ago and continued into a heartthrob from my era, Marti Pellow (formerly of Wet Wet Wet) on Saturday night.

Talk about fans.  Wow. Some came wearing t-shirts from former tours (they had pretty much been to every gig he’d ever done). A chunky percentage turned up in their handcrafted t-shirts (“No Marti No Party” being a particular favourite).  But allof them clearly were just massive fans, desperate to get their hands on Marti (naturally) and his merchandise to add to their collections.

No surprises that t-shirts were as popular as ever (a few brave fans changing in the open air!) but the programmes (personally signed and offering a chance to win a date with the man) went down a storm.

Brands with fans know all of this all too well and can fully give the audience what they want by offering them useable, relevant, shareable merchandise, designed, crafted and brilliantly produced to enhance their love of the brand. This is what ORB does really well. We deliver a crowd pleasing performance every time.
